The Serious Side of Madness shortlisted for 2009 British Composer Award

The Serious Side of Madness, for Chamber Orchestra, has been shortlisted for a 2009 British Composer Award in the Making Music Category. The Serious Side of Madness was written for the Kensington Chamber Orchestra as part of the Sound and Music/Making Music 'Adopt a Composer' project, funded by the PRSF, and was premiered in June 2008. The piece has since been performed by the BBC Philharmonic and has been broadcast twice on BBC Radio 3.
