Panufnik Variation for the LSO

Another exciting opportunity with the LSO!

I am delighted to have been asked to write a variation on a theme by Andrzej Panufnik for performance by the London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican in April 2013.

This is part of an exciting project co-ordinated by composer Colin Matthews. Several other composers, who, like myself, are all alumni of the LSO/Panufnik Scheme, have also been asked to contribute a variation. Colin Matthews will write the opening and conclusion and the whole twenty minute work will be performed as one piece, conducted by Francois-Xavier Roth.
